Amanda at Amaranth Games has been so kind to give us a sneak preview of an upcoming game, Yummy Drink Factory.

The game is about a typical city girl named Alex who finds herself zapped into a magical wonderland called Fairytale Island. In order to find her way home, she must work as a barista to serve drinks to fairytale creatures. Think of it as “The Wonderful Starbucks of Oz.”

You’ll learn to mix yummy drink recipes to cater to the tastes of Fairytale Island, while trying to complete all of your orders within the time limit. As the game goes on, you’ll get more recipe types using new tools (like the blender) and new goodies (like toppings). Perform well enough and you’ll earn gems to buy upgrades for your stand, as well as magical wands to help you whip up your drinks faster!

In the General Store, you’ll get a chance to upgrade your drinks stand with magical themes and decorations, in order to increase your income. For the creative types, there’s also a Drink Lab feature where you can make your own recipes, then put them in the game itself or even upload them to share with other players online!

Beta testing for Yummy Drink Factory has just started, and the game will be released within the next month or so. Check with us and we’ll let you know the moment Yummy Drink Factory arrives!
