Devastro isn’t that remarkable as a top down shooter game. You blow up aliens. You avoid land mines. You get new guns. And you use squad tactics to keep your little troop alive while you do all this. What’s great is the presentation. This game is chock full of tongue-in-cheek humor that pokes fun at every videogame and military movie convention out there. The dialogue will have you laughing out loud, and the explosions are accompanied by comic book style “BOOM” symbols. It’s sure to amuse you throughout fun (albeit short) demo. [Website]

Tanglebee by SmartMelon Games
Once in a while you come across a game that you don’t expect to be interesting, and then you start playing it, and go, “Hey! this is really neat!” Tanglebee is one of those games, and it’s really fun! You basically untangle bees. That’s it. But it’s great! Plus, the game has polish up the wazoo. Tons of levels, pleasant music, cute graphics. You should check it out. Go! [Website]
